It is disheartening to note that the Death toll in Bayero University, Kano bombings hit 15, says a reliable source. He said the figure would most likely rise, as a lot of the wounded are in critical condition.
Some have died, some will still die but why are the innocent souls attacked. Even after the bombing that took place in Abuja, ThisDay Headquarter it makes it crystal clear that this Boko Haram attack is not more of a Christian attack rather a fight to finish, more like a political propaganda. Why the innocent soul? Why? Oh why?
Now Bayero University Kano, why? A reliable source who doubles to be a Batch B Corp member with just 48days left of Kano State Polytechnic who was also at the scene, BAYERO UNIVERSITY, OLD SITE, said, they came to attack Christians worshiping on Sunday mostly Catholic and fellowship of Christian students.
'IT WAS JUST GOD, THEY ATACKED CATHOLIC AND FCS WHERE I WORSHIP, THEY SHOT AT US AS WE WERE RUNING, THEY SHOT 2 PEOPLE WHERE I WAS HIDING AND GOD JUST BLIND THE GUY THAT WAS SHOOTING AT US AND IMMEADIATLY JOINT TASK FORCE (JTF) CAME TO RESCURE US. I SAW DEATH FACE TO FACE.'
“It was a terrible experience, as Professor Falola mounted the pulpit for preaching, we just heard some shooting and we started running. Finally i saw a water storex and I ran there, we were about 40 people that laid down flat at the corner. There was a tall fence at our back and some people were climbing it but immediately I climbed and saw 2 men lying dead on the ground I retreated. We were there praying and a guy wearing a black jalamia started shooting at us and 2 people were shot at the stomach.”
While narrating, Campuslife source explained that “a lady ran by and caught the guy’s attention and the guy left us and went after the lady which he shot dead. The 2 women were in pool of blood with pains and after about 30minutes, the JTF came to our rescue, we carried those who were shot into their van and they evacuated us immediately because they received information that there was still another bomb in the school. They just dropped us who are not injured in Kabuga because there are some soldiers there and took those injured to Aminu Kano Teaching Hospital. Instantly, a report came that 2 Professors were shot dead.
Source went further to note that 'a fellow Corp member whom we went to church together this morning is still missing now and we are staying at the same lodge. We are just praying for her safety. Thanks”
At this point, on behalf of the concerned Nigerian youth, we say enough of all
these. Why involve the youths in all of these politricking! If you have a
target or have a request from the government why not streamline your strategies
to them rather than make some victims for others default?
Would we continue like this? Would we watch why a whole lot die? I wouldn't want to sit on the fence while my fellow Nigerian youth die. Though, some will say, those dead time has come but the death was hastened up as a result of the bombings! Oh Nigeria, oh the Nigeria youth! What future do we have? What's the way out?
Like a Nigerian artiste ask...”if you ask
me, na who I go ask! The matter way we see so...e tey way he start! No be me go
talk am...he heavy for mouth! This matter for ground tire me o”...which way
Naija!
