Intro to NYSC

The anxiety, the nervousness and the zeal to undergo the 1year Service is what most patriotic youth and graduate crave for. Maybe because its once in a lifetime opportunity or cause of the will to wear the crested vest with NYSC boldly written on it.

Most times, qualified youths that anticipate passing through the scheme and those already in the system have series of rhetorical questions passing through their minds. 

Even as some sees it as a survival of the fittest, thus, ascribing the acronym with the meaning ‘Now Your Suffering Continues.’ A whole lot still hold the believe that it should retain the name National Youth Service Corps'.

And in situation when Corp members return as Corpse, all lips are sealed yet the burning desire to serve the Nation remains an unending race.

A whole lot wish they could serve and a whole lot doesn't see the need to. Some ask themselves...what has Nigeria done for me? Is it by force to serve Nigeria? Nonetheless, this page is for those that crave for it and of cause want to undergo the whole Service thing'.

The rigours, the fun, ecstasy and of course the settings at which one is being place, forced to obey the clarion call! It could be crazy. In short its not easy but many would agree with me that it is worth it!
